i will talk you thorugh

"i will demonstrate and then talk you through" tells the yoga teacher or the tennis instructor. buy also we have "you can land the plane even when the pilot has passed out, we will talk you through". "Get into my apartment and bring me the passport, i will talk you through to lead you where it is".
if i am trying to get away of all the social analysis that turn practice into a discourse and the the work of critique to an excersise of decoding and coding, i particularly enjoy the "talk you through" in which laguage is pushed to being literal. language is to be turned into a specific action and even habitus "bow your head in sign of respect - namsate". language is the corrective hand in "stretch your back" and is the hand of the pilot who wants to make the non pilot land a plane, "gently push the flaps down". so we made it.
